A quick and flavorful recipe for Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Breast that is juicy and tender.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook the chicken at 380°F for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, flip the chicken breasts over and brush half of the BBQ sauce on top. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Flip the chicken again, brush with the remaining BBQ sauce, and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mixture for at least 30 minutes or overnight before cooking.
- Try using different BBQ sauces or adding a splash of hot sauce for a spicy kick.
