- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil over the chicken, then coat both sides with the spice mixture.
- Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, flip the chicken breasts and brush BBQ sauce on top. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
