Description

A quick and tasty recipe for Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Breasts that are juicy and flavorful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil over the chicken, then coat both sides with the spice mixture.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. After 10 minutes, flip the chicken breasts and brush BBQ sauce on top. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mixture and olive oil for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • You can substitute the BBQ sauce with your favorite marinade or glaze for a different taste.
