Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup hot honey (or regular honey mixed with a pinch of red pepper flakes)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the hot honey, minced garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour half of the hot honey mixture over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. Drizzle the remaining hot honey mixture over the feta cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
