Description

Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are a delicious and flavorful grilled dish featuring marinated chicken cubes served with a spicy Bang Bang sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if using wooden skewers)
  • For the Bang Bang Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken cubes, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the chicken is well coated.
  3. Thread the chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  4. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  5. While the chicken is grilling, prepare the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl.
  6. Once the chicken skewers are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve the skewers drizzled with the Bang Bang sauce or serve the sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the olive oil and spices for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
  • You can substitute the chicken with shrimp or tofu for a different protein option. Adjust cooking times accordingly.
