Description

Beef Stroganoff Delight is a creamy and savory dish made with ground beef, mushrooms, and egg noodles, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in the sliced mushrooms, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir well to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
  5. Gradually add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream until well combined. Allow to simmer gently while you cook the egg noodles.
  7. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  8. Serve the beef stroganoff over the egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
  • Add a splash of white wine to the beef broth for an extra depth of flavor.
