Description
A quick and delicious breakfast pizza made on English muffins, topped with eggs, cheese, and optional sausage.

- 1 package (6) English muffins, split in half
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage (optional)
- ¼ cup sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the split English muffins on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each muffin half.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce on each muffin.
- In a skillet, cook the eggs sunny-side up or scrambled, seasoned with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Place one cooked egg on top of the cheese on each muffin half. If using sausage, add some crumbled sausage on top of the egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, skip the sausage and add extra vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
- Try different cheeses, such as cheddar or pepper jack, for a unique flavor twist.
