- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
- Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Coat the chicken tenders in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter together.
- Brush the buffalo sauce mixture over the chicken tenders.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
- Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing if desired.
Notes
- For extra crunch, try using panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
- To make these tenders spicier, add a few dashes of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture or increase the amount of buffalo sauce used.
