Description

Buffalo Chicken Tenders are crispy, flavorful chicken strips coated in a spicy buffalo sauce, perfect for a quick meal or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
  4. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  5. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  6. Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
  7. Coat the chicken tenders in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  8. Place the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. In a small bowl, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter together.
  10. Brush the buffalo sauce mixture over the chicken tenders.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  12. Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, try using panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
  • To make these tenders spicier, add a few dashes of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture or increase the amount of buffalo sauce used.
