Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups frozen corn kernels
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted and bubbly.
- Add the frozen corn kernels to the skillet and stir to coat them in the oil and butter mixture.
- Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper over the corn. Stir well to combine.
- Cook the corn for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is heated through and slightly caramelized.
- Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or diced jalapeños.
- You can substitute fresh corn on the cob (about 4 ears) for frozen corn; just cut the kernels off the cob and cook for a shorter time until tender.
