- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Mix until well blended.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Spread the Cajun honey butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Carefully remove the salmon from the grill and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Cajun honey butter mixture.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of rice or with a side of grilled vegetables for a complete meal.
