Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham (or cooked bacon)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, half of the cheddar cheese, and the diced ham (or bacon). Mix well and spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the hash brown mixture in the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. If desired, garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
