Ingredients

- 2 large apples, diced (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, celery, walnuts, and raisins or dried cranberries.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the apple mixture and gently toss until everything is well coated.
- If desired, serve the salad on a bed of lettuce leaves for added crunch and presentation.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
Notes
- For added crunch, consider adding 1/2 cup of chopped celery or a handful of sunflower seeds.
