Description
A traditional Full English Breakfast featuring a hearty combination of sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans, and toast.

- 8 ounces breakfast sausage links
- 4 slices bacon
- 4 large eggs
- 2 medium tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup baked beans (canned)
- 4 slices of black pudding (optional)
- 4 slices of whole grain toast
- Butter for spreading
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage links until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, add the bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Crack the eggs into the skillet and fry to your desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes for sunny-side up. Season with salt and pepper.
- While the eggs are cooking, place the halved tomatoes cut-side down in the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes until softened.
- Heat the baked beans in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through, about 5 minutes.
- If using black pudding, add the slices to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Toast the whole grain bread and spread with butter.
- To serve, arrange the sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans, black pudding (if using), and toast on each plate. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the sausage and bacon with plant-based alternatives and skip the black pudding.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
