Description
A delicious and flavorful Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak recipe that elevates your dinner with its rich taste and easy preparation.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ pounds flank steak
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Start by patting the flank steak dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a nice sear.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Rub this spice mixture evenly over both sides of the steak.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add 2 tablespoons of the butter.
- When the butter is melted and bubbling, carefully place the steak in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak as it finishes cooking.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This helps the juices redistribute.
- Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips. Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the spice mixture.
- Serve the steak with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
