- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the honey, ricotta cheese, Greek yogurt, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and lightly golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
- If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a nutty flavor, add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or almonds to the filling before baking.
- Serve with fresh fruit or a dollop of whipped cream for added sweetness and texture.
