Description
Hawaiian Roll Turkey Sliders are easy and delicious mini sandwiches made with ground turkey and topped with cheddar cheese, perfect for any gathering.

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the turkey mixture into small patties, about the size of the Hawaiian rolls. You should get around 12 patties.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- While the patties are cooking, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased baking dish. Layer the cooked turkey patties on top, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese. Brush the melted butter over the top of the rolls and sprinkle with poppy seeds if using.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. If desired, sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or a splash of hot sauce to the turkey mixture.
- Substitute ground turkey with ground chicken or beef for a different flavor profile.
