Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for dip)
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (for dip)
- 1 teaspoon lime juice (for dip)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (for dip)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, ginger, black pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the spicy mayo dip by mixing the mayonnaise, sriracha, lime juice, and garlic powder in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the meatballs are done, serve them hot with the spicy mayo dip on the side.
Notes
- For added flavor, try mixing in some chopped cilantro or sesame seeds into the meatball mixture.
- If you prefer a milder dip, reduce the amount of sriracha or substitute it with a sweet chili sauce.
