- 1 lb fresh salmon, skinless and boneless
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, flake the salmon into small pieces.
- Add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, egg, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- These patties can be baked in the oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes instead of frying.
