A delicious and easy-to-make Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake that combines the flavors of strawberries and cheesecake in a delightful dessert.

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (15.25-ounce) box vanilla cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
- In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, 1/4 cup of sugar, and lemon juice. Stir gently and set aside to macerate for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the remaining 3/4 cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the macerated strawberries over the cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle the dry vanilla cake mix evenly over the strawberries, ensuring complete coverage.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, making sure to cover as much of the mix as possible.
- Pour the water evenly over the top of the cake mix and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
- Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a teaspoon of almond extract to the cream cheese mixture.
- Substitute the strawberries with blueberries or peaches for a different fruit flavor.
