Ingredients

  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Fresh mint sprigs for decoration
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Start by boiling 2 cups of water in a medium pot.
  2. Once boiling, remove it from the heat and immerse the green tea bags, allowing them to steep for 4-6 minutes based on your preference for strength.
  3. After steeping, take out the tea bags and let the tea cool down completely.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, blend the cooled green tea with the pineapple juice, coconut water, agave syrup (if desired), and lime juice, whisking until everything is well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a pitcher and place it in the refrigerator for about an hour to chill and enhance the flavors.
  6. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tropical green tea over the ice.
  7. Finish off by garnishing each glass with a sprig of fresh mint.
