Description
Delicious turkey sliders topped with cheddar cheese and crispy bacon, served on sweet Hawaiian rolls.

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the turkey mixture into 12 small patties.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
- Once the patties are cooked, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased baking dish. Spread half of the sauce over the rolls.
- Layer the cooked turkey patties on the rolls, followed by the chopped bacon and cheddar cheese slices.
- Drizzle the remaining sauce over the cheese, then place the top half of the rolls on.
- Brush the melted butter over the top of the rolls and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the turkey mixture.
- Substitute ground turkey with ground chicken or beef for a different flavor profile.
