Description
Delicious turkey sliders topped with a creamy avocado sauce, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a casual meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 12 slider buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined, then form into 12 small patties.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the avocado sauce. In a small bowl, mash the avocado and mix in the Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Once the patties are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a turkey patty on each slider bun, topping with shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, and a generous dollop of avocado sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, mix in some chopped fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley into the turkey mixture.
- Swap out the slider buns for lettuce wraps for a low-carb option, or use whole grain buns for a healthier alternative.
