Description

Witches’ Brew Lemonade is a spooky and refreshing drink perfect for Halloween or any festive occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 810 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon activated charcoal powder (optional, for color)
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the 6 cups of water to the pitcher and mix until well combined.
  3. If using, add the activated charcoal powder and stir until fully incorporated for a spooky color.
  4. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
  5. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lemonade over the ice.
  6. Top each glass with a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy finish.
  7. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves before serving.

Notes

  • For a fun twist, try adding a splash of cranberry juice for a fruity flavor and a deeper color.
  • You can also substitute the sugar with a sugar alternative like agave syrup or stevia for a lower-calorie version.
