  • 1 cup Icing Sugar for rolling cookie balls

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground almonds, sugar, egg whites, honey, almond extract, and all-purpose flour. Mix until a cohesive dough forms, around 3-5 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Roll the dough into 20 balls and coat them in icing sugar.
  4. Form thumbprints by pressing into the center of each ball.
  5. Bake for about 12 minutes until golden around the edges.
  6. Allow cookies to cool before filling with approximately ½ teaspoon of jam.
  7. Serve and enjoy your Amaretti Thumbprints!
