- Using the bottom of a glass, flatten each date to about half an inch thick.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until fully melted.
- Spoon melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture over each flattened date, covering completely.
- Sprinkle with sea salt if desired and chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to set.
