  • 2 cups Medjool dates pitted
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips melted
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter pure preferred
For Topping (Optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt for sprinkling

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove pits from unpitted Medjool dates.
  2. Using the bottom of a glass, flatten each date to about half an inch thick.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until fully melted.
  4. Spoon melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture over each flattened date, covering completely.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired and chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to set.
