  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives or fresh chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion

Dough
  • 1 package refrigerated Pillsbury crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs or Panko
Gravy
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package chicken gravy mix
  • 1 cup water

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and butter until creamy, then fold in chicken, chives, minced onion, salt, and pepper.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough, combine triangles to form rectangles, and seal seams tightly.
  4. Spoon the chicken mixture onto the center of each dough rectangle, fold to seal, and shape into pillows.
  5. Dip each pillow into melted butter, roll in breadcrumbs, and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Combine cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, and water in a saucepan, heat until boiling, then reduce and simmer until thickened.
  8. Serve the Chicken Pillows warm with gravy drizzled on top.
