- Rinse the rice under cold water for about 2–3 minutes. Drain well and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, then add the onion and sauté for about 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
- Add the rinsed rice, chicken broth, whole milk, paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Increase heat to medium-high until it simmers. Cover and reduce heat to low, cooking for 18-20 minutes undisturbed.
