- Start by greasing an 8x8 inch baking pan with nonstick spray. You can line the bottom and sides with parchment paper for easier removal later.
- In a large saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat, stirring occasionally. After about 5-7 minutes, the butter will turn golden brown.
- Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows to the saucepan and stir continuously over low heat until melted, about 3-5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and immediately stir in 1 cup of smooth peanut butter until the mixture is silky.
- Gently fold in 4 cups of cornflake cereal until all are evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press down firmly to shape the bars.
- Allow the bars to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before slicing.
