- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare an 8½-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, Greek yogurt, buttermilk, melted butter, almond extract, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt, then sift this mixture into the wet batter, stirring gently.
- Prepare the cherries by pitting and quartering them, coating in cornstarch, then fold them and sliced almonds into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle reserved cherries and almonds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes; check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Whisk together confectioner's sugar, almond extract, and cream to make the glaze; drizzle over the cooled bread.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
