  • 1 lb Langostino Tails or Lobster can substitute with scallops or other shellfish
  • 1 cup Jumbo Lump Crabmeat cooked
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper
  • 2 stalks Celery diced
  • to taste Salt & Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
For the Creamy Gravy
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth or vegetable broth for vegetarian option
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream or half-and-half for lighter version
  • 2 tbsp Butter unsalted
  • 1/4 cup Flour or gluten-free flour
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried or fresh
  • 1 tsp Tarragon dried or fresh
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika or regular paprika
  • to taste Salt & Pepper
For the Biscuit Topping
  • 1 pack Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
  • 2/3 cup Milk or non-dairy milk
  • 1 cup Mild Cheddar Cheese shredded
Finishing Touch
  • 2 tbsp Herb Butter Sauce for brushing

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sear shrimp and langostino tails seasoned with salt and pepper for 2-3 minutes until pink, then set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed, then sauté diced onions, bell pepper, and celery for 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add unsalted butter to the vegetables. Once melted, sprinkle in flour and stir constantly for 2 minutes. Gradually add chicken broth then heavy cream, and simmer while stirring.
  4. Add minced garlic, thyme, tarragon, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the seafood mix to the skillet, stir gently, and heat through over low heat.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix, milk, and shredded cheddar cheese to form a dough.
  7. Preheat oven to 425°F (190°C). Transfer the seafood filling to a baking dish, top with biscuit dough. Bake for 14-16 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Melt butter and mix with garlic herb seasoning. Brush over hot biscuits after baking.
