- Lightly coat a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-low heat.
- Add the entire 10-ounce bag of mini marshmallows and stir until mostly melted.
- Remove from heat and quickly fold in 8 cups of Captain Crunch cereal until well-coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press down firmly to create an even layer.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before cutting into bars.
