Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and slice fresh oranges in half. Extract juice to get 2 cups and strain to eliminate pulp.
  2. Combine the orange juice, granulated sugar, and zest in a mixing bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves, about 2-3 minutes. Add lemon juice if desired.
  3. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, filling each cavity three-quarters full. Insert popsicle sticks.
  4. Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours until completely solid. Tap molds to check firmness.
  5. Run warm water over the outside of the molds for about 10-15 seconds to release the popsicles. Serve immediately.
