For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can use butter for more flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Paste Fresh minced garlic can be used.
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth Adjust quantity as needed.
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream Opt for vegan cream for a dairy-free version.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Salted Butter Can substitute with unsalted butter.
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese Pecorino Romano works as a substitute.
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Can replace with other fresh herbs.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of garlic paste and cook for about 1 minute.
  2. Add 1 cup of ditalini pasta to the skillet, stirring to coat evenly. Stir for 1 minute.
  3. Pour in about 2 cups of chicken broth to cover the pasta and sprinkle a pinch of salt. Increase heat to high.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium and stir frequently for about 8 minutes until pasta absorbs most of the broth.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese, ½ cup of heavy cream, and 2 tablespoons of salted butter.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste and let it sit for an additional minute on low heat.
  7. Remove from heat, transfer to serving bowls, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
