  1. Start by draining and rinsing your cooked white beans if using canned. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine your prepared white beans and milk. Add nutritional yeast, salt, and garlic powder. Blend for 30-45 seconds until smooth.
  3. Transfer the blended mixture into a small pot.
  4. Heat the pot over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally. If using, add vegan shredded cheese and stir for about 5 minutes until warmed through.
  5. If a thinner consistency is desired, gradually add more milk while stirring.
