Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Peel and grate the potatoes into a large bowl and let sit for a few minutes.

  3. Mix the dried potatoes with cheese, flour, egg, salt, and pepper.
  4. Shape the mixture into sticks about 2 inches long.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the sticks for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
