Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, vanilla extract, cinnamon, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
  2. Slice the King's Hawaiian rolls in half, creating a hinge. Poke holes in the bottom with a toothpick.
  3. Dip each roll into the custard mixture for 30 seconds to 1 minute on both sides without making them soggy.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter until bubbly.
  5. Place the soaked rolls cut side down onto the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip the rolls and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Continue cooking the remaining rolls in batches, adding more butter if needed.
  8. Serve warm and dust with powdered sugar, adding toppings as desired.
