Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
- Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound to an even thickness of about ½ inch.
- Lay turkey and Swiss cheese on each chicken breast, roll tightly, and secure with toothpicks.
- Prepare three shallow bowls with seasoned flour, whisked eggs and milk, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder.
- Dredge each roll in flour, dip in egg mixture, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and brown each roll for about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Transfer rolls to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While chicken is baking, prepare the cheese sauce by melting butter, whisking in flour, adding milk gradually, then stirring in Swiss cheese.
- Slice chicken rolls, drizzle with Swiss cheese sauce, and serve warm.
