  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened.
  • 4 slices Bacon Cooked until crisp and chopped.
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese Can substitute with mozzarella.
For the Finish
  • 1 large Egg Beaten for brushing.
For Serving
  • 1 cup Ranch Dressing For dipping.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry to a thickness of about 1/4 inch on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly over one half of the rolled-out pastry.
  4. Scatter the sliced jalapeños, crispy bacon, and half of the cheddar cheese over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Fold the unspread half of the puff pastry over the filled side and seal the edges.
  6. Cut the pastry into 1/2-inch strips and twist each strip a couple of times.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  9. Let them cool for at least 5-10 minutes before serving with ranch dressing.
