Ingredients

For the Rice Bowls
  • 2 cups Cooked Jasmine Rice Consider quinoa or cauliflower rice for low-carb.
  • 1 bunch Green Onions Slice thinly for garnish.
  • 1 cup Shredded Carrots Can swap with bell peppers.
  • 1 cup Cucumber Radishes can provide a spicier twist.
For the Spicy Cream Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can lighten it up.
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha Sauce Adjust for desired heat.
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice Lemon juice makes a good substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Honey Maple syrup can also be used.

Method
 

Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper until well combined. Add flank steak, cover, and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lime juice, honey, and salt until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Preheat grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade and place on grill pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Prepare serving bowls with cooked jasmine rice. Thinly slice rested steak against the grain and layer on rice. Add green onions, shredded carrots, and cucumber slices.
  5. Drizzle spicy cream sauce over each bowl and serve immediately.
