- In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice with sesame oil, soy sauce, gochujang, and garlic powder. Mix vigorously for 2–3 minutes until evenly coated and slightly sticky.
- Gently fold in chopped kimchi, sesame seeds, roasted seaweed flakes, and chopped green onions. Mix thoroughly for about 2 minutes.
- Wet your hands and scoop a generous handful of the rice mixture into your palm, shaping it into a ball about the size of a golf ball. Repeat until all the mixture is formed into balls.
- Sprinkle additional toasted sesame seeds or seaweed flakes on top of each rice ball if desired. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
