Ingredients
  

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • ¼ cup jalapeños sliced (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them into thin fries.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the cut fries with vegetable oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the top.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot, topped with sour cream, green onions, and jalapeños if desired.
