Cooking Steps

  2. Sauté the Proteins: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken and andouille sausage, cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the Vegetables: Lower heat to medium, add bell peppers, onions, and garlic, cooking until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Sauce: Stir in Cajun seasoning, pour in heavy cream, and add Parmesan. Simmer on low heat for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Combine the Ingredients: Add cooked pasta to skillet, mixing until coated. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Remove from heat, serve hot garnished with extra Parmesan or parsley.
