Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine fish sauce, light brown sugar, minced garlic, and vegetable oil to create a fragrant marinade. Add the split chicken wing pieces, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  2. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Arrange the marinated chicken wings skin-side up on the baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. While the wings are baking, pour the remaining marinade into a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
  5. After 30 minutes, baste the wings with the thickened marinade and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer the wings to a serving dish. Baste again with sauce and sprinkle with chopped peanuts and cilantro before serving.
