- In a large bowl, combine fish sauce, light brown sugar, minced garlic, and vegetable oil to create a fragrant marinade. Add the split chicken wing pieces, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Arrange the marinated chicken wings skin-side up on the baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
- While the wings are baking, pour the remaining marinade into a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
