In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until just combined. Do not overmix.
Divide the beef into 8 equal portions and shape them into loose balls.
Place the balls on the hot skillet and press down firmly with a spatula to flatten them into thin patties. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
Flip the patties and immediately sprinkle cheese on top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked through.
While the burgers are cooking, warm the flour tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until soft.
Assemble the tacos by placing a cheeseburger patty on each tortilla. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
