Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven as it heats up.
  2. Slice onion and sauté in a skillet over medium heat with olive oil, salt, and pepper for 5-7 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  3. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough into a 16-inch circle on a floured surface. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza dough, covering every inch.
  5. Arrange cooked steak strips on top of the melted cheese, followed by sautéed onions and mushrooms.
  6. Scatter blue cheese crumbles over the toppings, being careful not to overpower the dish.
  7. Bake the pizza for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and top with fresh baby arugula before serving.
